During the busy bike boom years Cycles Alex Singer had some frames made by C.N.C. This bike was assembled at Alex Singer on one of those outsourced Reynolds 531 frames (with prugnat 62D lugs) using some very nice components. Maxi-Car hubs and Super Champion 700c rims, Wolber 28mm tires, TA triple/ Huret drivetrain, Belleri bars and stem, Soubitez lighting, Mafac Racer brakes and unidentified racks. I added the Brooks Professional saddle, the bar tape and shellac, the customized-with-twine-and-cork Sigg bottle, the old alloy bell and the (what’s in a name) Velo Orange bottle cage and decaleur. I just returned from a light tour of the Netherlands, hence the vintage French bags. cycledefrance.com
