PV Sindhu lost the second game as well against Denmark’s Line Kjaersfeldt. She fought hard, but the result was not in her favour. Line Kjaersfeldt won the match 22-20, 23-21 in straight games.

The Indian pair of Tanish Crasto and Shruti Mishra is up against the Danish pair of Natasha P Anthonisen and Alexandra Boje in the women’s doubles game. India are trailing by 0-4.

Tanisha Crasto and Shruti Mishra managed to win Game 1 of the women’s doubles match against Denmark’s Natasha P Anthonisen and Alexandra Boje. The Indian pair won game 1 by the margin of 21-13.

The Indian pair of Tanisha Crasto and Shruti Mishra managed to win Game 2 as well and secure the first win for India on Sunday. They defeated Danish pair 21-18 in game 2 to claim the first win for India. India, however lost to Denmark 1-4.

India have lost their first group-stage tie against Denmark by 1-4 margin. They will face Indonesia next on Tuesday, 29 April 2025 at the same venue.
