The Pauls Valley Tennis and Racquet Association will host the Valley Paddle Battle tennis table event on Saturday, February 1 at the local Reynolds Recreation Center.
Essential Table Tennis in Oklahoma City is sponsoring the event and supplying tables for participants.
Anyone interested in playing in the upcoming ping pong event can register online at the tennis group’s website as costs start at $25 for the first bracket.
The group is also planning to hold Pickle in the Park in a few months.
The pickleball event at the Wacker Park tennis courts is scheduled for Saturday, April 12.

The Washita Valley Beekeepers Association now meets at 6 p.m. every second Saturday of the month.
Meetings are a 6 p.m. at Pauls Valley’s public library, Nora Sparks Warren Library.
Anyone interested in beekeeping is invited to come as the next meeting is scheduled for February 8.

A support group for families of LGBTQ+ is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. the second Monday of the month in the basement of the First Presbyterian Church in Pauls Valley.
This group is like many other support groups – focused on being there for family who are dealing with a loved one experiencing issues.
This is a confidential and nonjudgmental group as all are welcome.
The next meeting is scheduled for February 10.
The church is at 320 North Walnut as the basement parlor is through the Bradley Avenue door and down the stairs.
