Six cars derail on Providence and Worcester Railroad
Nobody was injured, and no hazardous material was spilled, according to Cumberland Police Chief Matthew J. Benson.

A Woonsocket man died June 9 after he was struck by a car while riding a bicycle in Bellingham, Massachusetts, according to the Bellingham police.
The crash happened at about 12:44 p.m. on South Main Street, the police said in a news release.
Responding to the crash, first responders found the bicyclist suffering from critical injuries, the police said. He was taken to Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, where he was pronounced dead, the police said.
The driver, a juvenile, stayed at the scene, was evaluated there and then taken to Milford Regional Medical Center, the police said.
The driver has been issued a criminal citation for motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation and a marked lane violation, the police said.
