Golf fans had a special morning at PGA National, where legends Jack Nicklaus and Annika Sörenstam joined major champions Graeme McDowell and Henrik Stenson for an intimate golf clinic. Participants had the rare opportunity to ask questions, take photos, and learn from some of the game’s greatest players.

The event was part of the Integra Connect Classic, benefiting Conquer Cancer — an organization that raises millions each year to support cancer research and care around the World. Conquer Cancer has awarded more than $203 million globally to advance cancer care and research.

“Anytime anybody is doing something good,” said Nicklaus at the event. “We are all very very moved by what (the organization) does, and I think a lot of people will be very grateful for it.”

Nicklaus also spoke about recently being fully vindicated after winning a $50 million defamation lawsuit against his former business partners. It’s a verdict that he says helps protect his reputation as one of golf’s all-time greats.

“My legacy that I’ve had throughout the years will be very important to my family,” said Nicklaus about why the verdict was so important to him. “I’m 85 years old, how long am I going to be around, I don’t know. But it’s not about me. It’s about the future and (my) family.”
