Nebraska volleyball landed its first class of 2027 commitment on Monday afternoon. In-state setter Malorie Boesiger announced the commitment on social media.
“I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska to further my academic and volleyball career!!! First, I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play the sport I love and glorify Him. I also want to thank my family for all the support and love they’ve given me. Thank you to my coaches and teammates who have pushed me to get better. Finally, I want to give a B1G thank you to Coach Dani, Coach Jaylen, Coach Kelly, and Coach Brennan for the incredible opportunity to live out my dream. I’m staying home!!! GO BIG RED!”

Boesiger is ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the class of 2027 by PrepVolleyball.com. She plays for Norris High School and won the NSAA Class B State Title in 2024 after defeating nine-time champ Omaha Skutt.
She missed her sophomore season due to injury. During her freshman year, she helped Norris High School achieve a state runner-up finish. She averaged 11.4 assists per set as a setter.
Her sister, Maisie Boesiger, is a senior Husker defensive specialist.
