BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Police said they are now looking at a shooting in a Baton Rouge parking lot as a possible self defense case.
The shooting happened Saturday afternoon, February 22, in the parking lot of the Firestone Auto Shop on Cortana Place.
Police said that two females got into a dispute, and one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other.
The female who was shot was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The shooter was taken into custody by police, according to BRPD. Authorities have not yet released her name.
One of the Firestone windows was hit by bullets during the shooting, police said.
The investigation is still ongoing.
