CEDARVILLE, Ark. — According to Cedarville Fire and Rescue (CFR), authorities and medical personnel responded to a crash off Highway 59 involving a car and a bicyclist on the evening of Oct. 23.

CFR did not immediately share details of the crash, but they do say the bicyclist was taken to a hospital.

“We want to remind all drivers to stay alert, especially when sharing the road with cyclists,” said CFR in a social media post.

The bicycle was reportedly equipped with indicator lights, and authorities ask that drivers keep an eye out for cyclists during both day and nighttime driving.
