The 2025 U.S. Open started with 14 LIV Golf players in the field at Oakmont Country Club. Only six made the cut (which was 7 over), among those a pair of past champions who couldn’t get into contention on the weekend.

Tyrrell Hatton and Carlos Ortiz both shared the lead on the back nine in difficult conditions but wilted down the stretch, as did many other leaders. Still, it’s a top-five finish for both players, finishing T-4.
