LUBBOCK – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women’s golf team wrapped up The Red Raider Invitational in 15th place on Wednesday at The Rawls Course.  
 
The Vaqueros finished with a three-round score of 942 after posting a final round 317. UTRGV finished two shots behind Incarnate Word. 
 
Junior Natalia Rodriguez finished tied for 49th with a three-round score of 233 after carding a final round 79. Sophomore Miriam Barcalova finished tied for 60th with a three-round score of 236 after posting a final round 76.
 
Junior Preston Saiz and senior Cristina Galban tied for 66th with three-round scores of 238 after Saiz posted a final round 87 and Galban carding a final round 77. Sophomore Pitchayapa Pungpho finished tied for 78th with a three-round score of 246 with a final round 85.
 
Texas Tech won the team title with a three-round score of 876 and Texas Tech’s Lauren Zaretsky won the individual title with a three-round score of 213 after a final round 68. 
 
The Vaqueros will be back in action from Oct. 19-21 at the Diamante Intercollegiate at Diamante Country Club.
